WOW, I picked up Nano-Nucleonic... and the musicianship in this band is top-notch! The whole time I was listening to it the forst time I kept thinking "this is like "controlled musical chaos" - the time changes are insane!!!

If you like BTA, you should also check out Dysrhythmia and Blotted Science. Blotted Science - The Machinations of Dementia is phenomenal!

Not bad at all, Blotted Science. I'ld say it's halfway between Dream Theater and Behold ... the Arctopus.

Yea, Spastic Ink is one I want to check out. I've also caught some snippets from a band called Don Caballero...they sound pretty good as well. I think this style could be my newest musical addiction

Wooooooooooooooooooow. Last time I listened to BTA was about....2 or 3 years ago.

The songs strike me as compositions as opposed to songs, now that I think of it.

Yeah, they're interesting dudes.....they dream up the compositions, then figure out how to play them on their various instruments.

Personally I prefer Alcoholocaust, that song is plain nuts.

They're like a talented, more musically-diverse version of Dragonforce. I love it!
Skullgrid is awesome.
