Belphegor

^partly true, but that's not the worst band to rip off from, is it?

The Last supper was the first album I heard of them and my fav is Necrodaemon Terrorsathan
I can't remember if my first album was The Last Supper or Bluthsabbath, one of these two. It was just another Morbid Angel rip-off for me, although these albums have some cool classics like "sadism unbound".

What I like about Necrodaemon Terrorsathan is, that it shows the style of it's follow-up, Lucifer Incestus, but in the rough, old way.

Lucifer Incestus imo marks the new era of this band. Great production and mixing, kickass Death Metal riffs and chanting Black Metal melodies. I didn't like Goatreich THAT much, probably because the immense kick I got out of LI. Sepulture Of Hypocrisy was their first awesome Doom song though.

Pestapokalypse VI was cool, but it was too Black Metal for my taste, I missed the high amounts of DM. That's why I love Bondage Goat Zombie - it features the trademarks of Lucifer Incestus, but the songs are still completely different (unlike Goatreich imo).

German/Austrian/Swiss fans can read the translation of De Sade's Justine here:

The extremely brutal 3rd book of Justine:

Marquis de Sade is a french author (ancient regime/french revolution) and one of the main inspirations of Belphegor. "Justine-Soaked In Blood" is about De Sade's "Justine".

That were my 2 cents, just another think which kept me from fulfilling my uni-duties. :D

woah...
btw corny, wanna have msn chat?
Sorry, I was off after my last post that night, I'll add you when I'm at home again. It's always nice to meet more demons :kickass:

I know marquis de Sade he was such a perv, he wrote a whole book about sexual stuffs and how to practice anal sex hahaha.

Charles Boudelaire should be one of their main inspirations too, he's better known as the Dark poet.

I heard of them over a year ago when my ex-guitarist went to see them.
I'll be seeing them with Amon Amarth hopefully. Going to be a rough show :D.
