Finally, there is a lot of debate about whether or not Mark Felt was a
hero. Obviously, I don't think so. I think the hero was Richard Nixon,
fighting for peace even as he was being horribly mistreated and
crucified just for his fight for peace.

later in the article he talks about what a horrible crime it is that Nixon was forced out of office while he was helping "mine and Felt's fellow Jews in Israel". it's kind of unbelievable.

i mean i figured stein would be reasonably pro-nixon, after all, but i sort of expected nixon's people to have very measured and mixed words about his legacy, "he did some good but he was a deeply flawed man" type attitudes. but they're all over the news being like IMPRISON FELT! NIXON RULES!

my thought that Schwarzenegger was a complete dolt for mentioning Nixon as his inspiration for joining the Republican party (at the RNC) was apparently childishly naive.
