THIS WEEK ON YOUR CLASSIC METAL SHOW: While THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW has been playing a lot of legends over the last few months, it's also been introducing you to some of the best newer artists of the genre. Clearly, one of the best newbies to surface this year is the band we will feature this year - Benedictum. Hailing from California, this female fronted band mixes the best elements of Black Sabbath, Dio, Judas Priest and bands of that ilk into their brilliant new album. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for Benedictum's UNCREATION, and vocalist Julie Freeman will stop by to discuss the band.
Additionally, our good friend Joe Lynn Turner has a new album out with Japanese guitarist Akira Kajiyama called FIRE WITHOUT FLAME. If you remember, Turner scored big with his last release, THE USUAL SUSPECTS, and now he's back and hitting hard once again. We'll bring you a New Music Listening Party for the new album, and we're going to try to get a few minutes from Joe's busy schedule to talk about the new album.
