I think he slays. A good mix between the former one and Covan, which was my favourite (reminded me of Mike Di Salvo among others).

The new album is gonna melt faces. And i love how Vogg is so humble while being a total madman as a guitar player and songwriter.

Even though I liked Covan, I would much prefer a proper death metal vocalist instead of screaming

I can't wait to hear these new riffs. It's crazy how good Vogg is at putting a song together. Some of those songs on 'The First Damned' demo like 'The Eye of Horus' are among my favourite death metal songs of all time. I can't play guitar that well now and I'm like 6 years older than he was at the time...that doesn't even get into being able to write the songs themselves and record them comfortably!

I have serious respect for the man and he will always be one of my biggest inspirations. I'd especially love it if the new album had some 7 string glory on it!
