If you're asking which is the best '80s thrash band overall, well then the honor goes to Metallica.

Thrash = Megadeth , I will refrain from any further comments. After that there are a number of great bands, and many none of you mentioned. Thrash is my favorite style so I kinda know a lot of the unknown bands.

What about Exciter. I think they are the most underated thrash metal band ever. These guys kick ass. I personally think it's getting harder to define thrash 'cause the so called "thrash" bands are so varied in style. Having said that, here are a few of my fav's.
