Yes I was. Not "studying" per se, but nonetheless studying it. If you must know, I am on vacation from work which leads to boredom and am an avid fan of art as well as an intermediate artist. Thanks for your hearty concern though mate.

As someone said, Darkthrone's is cool. It's hard to describe what I like about it - I guess the raw, scruffy, spidery look.

Personally though, I think of lot of black/death metal logos suck, especially when they try and incorporate as many inverted crosses and pentograms as possible. A lot of them you just can't read, which seems pretty pointless to me also!

I am surprised nobody named the mighty "Dio" logo. He had that cool calligraphy stuff going on. It worked when he started (his own abnd) and still does today.
