I would also say A Perfect Circle because I remember Maynard or one of the other members saying once that it wasn't just a side project.

But the main thing I was goin' to say was that Aaron Carter had an album out when I was on the sixth or seventh grade. I remember some of his videos coming from MTV right after 'tallicas Fuel.

The crushingest album ever?? Probably not, but bare with me, I'm kinda into them at the moment (oh, and for those wondering about their other cd floating around, that's a demo so it doesn't count ).

and bloody hell, 2 people mentioned Demilich. Just when you think no-one else listens to them... (well, neither do I really, though it is a rather amusing album (in a good way )). Amazing, no matter how obscure a band is, you always run into someone else who likes them......
