I have to say Testament - The Gathering

Steve Digiorgio on bass (I don't have to say why here)
Chuck Billy (great thrash and death vocalist)
Eric Peterson (a rhythm titan)
James Murphy (his guitar solos/tone is amazing)
Dave Lombardo (classic thrash drummer)

Your favorites?

Death's "Individual" is amazing too...

Steve DiGiorgio - ...
Chuck - amazing voice / songwriting / tone
Andy - amazing guitar work there
Gene - ...

Definitely "The Gathering", although the lineup on "First Strike Still Deadly" is also amazing- Tempesta is an absolutely fantastic drummer and everyone knows how extremely talented Alex Skolnick is. The rest of the lineup is Steve, Chuck and Eric.
As for Death, "ITP" is my number one. Steve and Gene together in Chuck's band... what more can a metalhead dream of? Maybe Andy on the second Axe...

Did you guys note that Steve is in all of these "best line-ups" we said? :D

Maybe because he is the best bassist in metal... :worship:

oohhhh.... in that case it's the Cynic, Focus line-up... (sorry steve...), but after that it's Death's Human (how can you choose between those two albums!?)

(and for the fans, Focus gonna be remastered and with the songs from Portal and released by roadrunner again)
