I would have to go with Diabolical Masquerade - Death's Design. I just picked it up today and man I love that cover. Cool colors, creepy imagery, and a badass logo.

I dont have a favorite cover, but if I had to pick it would be either an Andreas Marchall or Niklas Sundin piece, they are without a doubt my 2 favorite artists. There are TONS of amazing covers out there that they have done.

Not so much the technique as simply what is portrayed there, the twisting and molding of humanity to this empty, idiot God-face. Creepy as hell.
