Darkness Descends blows everything else they've done out of the water

"Darkness Descends", easily. I was just listening to that today (yesterday), and I forgot how good it is.

Not many thrash bands can write a track that exceeds 8 minutes and doesn't suck. The whole album is an intense thrash experience, and should be heard by anyone with an interest in thrash IMO.

Well, this thread shows the complete polar opposite opinion on this band when compared to the Megadeth boards (which is what I figure would happen)

Isn't DD their only standard album??? I know it's the only album I have. It's a decent old school thrash album, but it's all I care to get by them.

And it's not fucking decent, it's utterly amazing.
