'89 was a bumper year for OSDM.

The production is the only thing that resembles death metal on World Downfall. The riffs are pretty much all punk-oriented.

Yeah, but then again a lot of early Death Metal is influenced by punk and crossover stuff(punk/thrash), not just guitar wise but when it comes to drumming,etc..... d beat.

Altars is one of the most legendary albums of all death metal!!! Possibly the excaliber of the genre itself.
