I guess black metal and thrash would be the worst....

Nothing can beat Pentagram while drinking.... NOTHING.

Hmm it depends, thrash is great party music, you get up and want to thrash around and headbang. Black metal usually sucks, but can be nice if you are alone and and drinks because you have nothing better to do. Pentagram rules though, no question about it.

Better when you're high.
I think it makes more sense to be high when you listen to bands who are high. Alice In Chains for example sound good when sober or drunk just much better if you're high.
