Here is my take on Megadeth (cos im bored  )

KIMB: Ok, crap production, all the songs are very similair, will be a lot better with that remastered thing I think (and of course he DID rip that song off Metallica ;) )

PSBWB: Way better, great songs, but Daves voice sucked on it :( This is a great album

SFSGSW: I havent ever liked this album, but its obvious im pretty much the only person that thinks that, so we shall move on :)

RIP: Awesome! Its overrated, but its still great, Lucretia rocks, that song always gets overlooked :(

CTE: Deths best album IMHO, much more consistent than anything else they have done, this album rocks harder than a boulder

Y: Besides Black Curtains and Reckoning Day I think this album is rather boringish, everything is so slooooooow. They ought to rerecord this album, then they will get a better mark off me for it :D Its ok, but not brilliant.

CW: MUCH better! I really like this album, Daves vocals are almost acceptable ;) More hard rock than metal, but I dont care because its so good, their 2nd best album I think.

R: NEXT!

TWNAH: Pretty pissweak, but in an ok kinda way, Burning Bridges and Return To Hanger rule! (As does DATFM but we all heard that on CP)

Right, thats that sorted :D

Im still bored.... Heres my Slayer reviews!

SNM: I dont really listen to this, so I suppose that makes it quite average, maybe ill go put it on again and see what im missing.

HA: The title track ROCKS! The rest, less so unfortunately...... Was worth getting just for the Title Track :)

RIB: Well, its awesomely awesome in its awesomeness... Did you expect me to say anything else?

SOH: Classic! Has Ghosts Of War, one of the most underrated songs ever! Even though its not as fast as RIB it still rules :)

SITA: Classic again! War Ensemble, Seasons In The Abyss, Skeletons Of Society, Born Of Fire, Dead Skin Mask! Thrash heaven :)

DI: Besides Killing Fields and the title track its pretty boring....... Though Dittohead is SO funny when Tom is trying to say all those words really quickly, go put it on and you will understand what I mean

DIM: SO underrated, did anyone actually LISTEN to the cd? Bitter Peace and Point are 2 of the best songs Slayer have ever done, Deaths Head rules, as does Stain Of Mind. Some we spots in the second half of the album, but its still quite good!

GHUA: Other people dislike it, but they are wrong :D One of the best albums ever, I still listen to it nearly every day. Classic! :)

I better go do some work I spose.....

Hahahahah!!

Ok here is my take:

Killing Is My Business - Cool sounding raw '80s thrash album with really cool Bay Area attitude and much better guitar work than other bands playing that stuff though, great riffs all over. And Dave WROTE that fucking song! Hahahahaha! Metallica stole Dave's song and changed some lyrics around!

Peace Sells - Absolute classic!!! Especially the first 4 tracks, some of the best thrash metal ever!

So Far So Good - HEAVY guitar distortion, thundering drums, really cool album! The only downfalls are the vocal effects I think, and a couple of weak songs (Liar, 502).

Rust In Peace - Not much to be said here. Best thrash album ever, they just perfected everything. The hooks, riffs, solos, lyrics, its all just too damn good!

Countdown - Another really strong album, great songs throughout, brilliant riffs, catchy solos, etc.

Youthanasia - Even better than Countdown in my opinion. Less mechanical sounding, MUCH more energy coz it was recorded live, heavier, better hooks, and every song is good... especially the title track and I Thought I Knew It All!

Hidden Treasures - Angry Again and 99 Ways To Die are MIGHTY FINE songs!! And No More Mr. Nice Guy cover is sooooo damn good!!!!

Cryptic Writings - Some top tracks (Trust, Vortex, She-Wolf, Almost Honest) but a bit of fluff as well. A bit of the Load/Reload attitude shows up in some songs too.

Risk - Next..

World Needs A Hero - Great comeback, the only problem is the stiff and too polished production which holds the songs back from really rocking out fully. More their old style songwriting again, and GREAT guitar work from Al Pitrelli who is great (I love him more now since I saw Alice Trashes The World), and also the songs suond really good live. Just overproduced on here.

MEGADETH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bitter Peace has a GREAT intro yeah hehe. Death's Head isn't too bad, Overt Enemy has cool lyrics, and there are some good parts in Point too. I don't mind that album occasionally. But I've sold it now coz I hadn't listened to it for a year  Got boring quite quickly.

Oh and the guitar solos on that album sounded a *little* better, because they used a wah pedal to cover up their lack of talent in that department hahaha.

Its amazing to think you can be so utterly bad at something and have it become your trademark

I think 'Diabolus' is a good album, it has alot of good shit on it, but some pretty crappy stuff too. Overall, Megadeth shit on Slayer, and are the true kings of thrash, but Metallica come out on top of both of them anyway. :)

...and as for Ozzy's voice, I think of him as uniquely untalented.

Megadeth the kings of THRASH? THRASH? The thrash they stopped playing after RIP and never got back to?

BAH!!!

:) ;)

(I agree with you about Diabolus, the crap tracks are just shit, but the good stuff is really great  )

BAH!

Reign In Blood tears SFSGSW a new arse when it comes to thrash

How good would the Thrash Of The Titans tour have been? I wish I could have gone
