Best overall sythn?

I'm doing a bunch of backing tracks for a show I'm doing of modern covers. I really need a synth that does most generic sounds, loud agressive, ambient, rhythmic, I don't have to get it sounding spot on, just close. I'm clueless with the synth stuff but does anybody have a suggestion?

Either buy a Kronos or a PC3k both of those pretty much do everything. Or if you really have the money a nord does the trick as well.

Not sure if you are talking about virtual or hardware synths but as someone who has been working in edm for quite a while, I would recommend Massive since it can create almost any sound you could ask for and has some some great modulation features. I also suggest nexus. It has some great presets and can make some really cool pads and leads.
