My Personal Favorite Pestilence album is Consuming Impulse-that album got me into death metal so long ago (1990) to be exact.although in my mind every Pestilence album is very good specially testimony of the ancients.sphere's was probably my least fav but since I was into jazz and fusion I though it was pretty good.Overall I think Pestilence was way ahead of their time when those albums where released.Showing that even back then their was always room for experimentation.Thats if done the right way

Testimony Of The Ancients is their best!!!!!!!

I'm glad I picked a good first one of theirs to pick up! I don't think their other stuff is terribly difficult to find, and I've been thinking of getting the rest of the Pestilence catalog - how do the other albums compare to "Testimony"?

I personally don't like spheres, just a bit too progresive for me.The first two are great albums too,but the production is not as good as testimony IMO.More brutal and chaotic wich is always good.
