What do you think is the best possible preamp? Metal as fuck it would have to be. Do you have any clips of your preamp recordings? Been thinking about getting a VHT 2150 and need some preamp to do justice for it

ahhhh shit, here we go again...
there is no such thing as a best preamp
that being said, you typically can't go wrong with an API if you're looking for an aggressive sound

Well i dont have any clips but two of my favorite preamps are the marshall jmp-1 and the new randal mts check it out here http://www.randallamplifiers.com/products/amplifiers/mts/mtsrack.asp its probally one of the coolest things ive seen come out in a while.
