Best Scorpions album?

I've been getting right back into The Scorps of late after picking up a couple of el cheapo best-of CDs. So where to next? Vote here and help me decide .

Also, is there a decent compilation around that concentrates on the Uli Roth 70s era, or should I just get Tokyo Tapes and be done with it?

There is no compilation from the Roth years. The best overall comp. is Deadly Sting: The Mercury Years. 'Virgin Killer' is probably the best from the UJR era, but 'Lovedrive' might be the best of all.

Out of the ones I own/have owned, 'Love at first sting' gets my vote........it has 'Rock you like a hurricane', 'Bad boys running wild', 'Big city nights' and 'Still loving you'........classic stuff.

Savage Amusement gets my vote because it has my 3 favourite Scorpions songs (Passion Rules The Game, Don't Stop At The Top, Rhythm Of Love).

Taken By Force!!! He's A Woman, She's A Man, The Sails Of Charon(which has one of THE coolest intro riffs ever), Steamrock Fever, We'll Burn The Sky....all Scorp classics. I pity da fool who doesn't own Taken By Force!!!!

Yeah, Taken by Force is pretty cool! I think if you're a fan of Roth's playing, you should endeavour to get all the albums he played on.
