my mate as a thankyou for doing his website and CD album artwork surprised me with a backstage pass to meet Joe Satriani at this weekends G3 tour in Melbourne.

Satch, Vai and Petrucci.

Petrucci (with Portnoy) were just BRUTAL!!!

Vai is a freakin rock star who is the personfication of glam 80s to the max. Incredible.

Satriani is just the coolest - so easy going. What a dude too - such a super nice and generous man with his fans. I had the pleasure to chat and meet him. He was so cool and really really humble. Signed all our stuff and was just such a great guy.

That show was scheduled to be at the Ent Centre here - capacity 10 000, then moved to Thebarton Theatre - 2500. Not selling so well here.
