Godammit, why am I always the last to hear about these things?

I was wasting time on Wikpedia today, which led me to http://www.timripperowens.com/index.html . The sample that blasted out at me as soon as I arrived there almost knocked me off my seat. It makes a pleasant change to hear Ripper's voice put to good use in a band that he has some creative control over. Another one for the CD Universe wishlist, methinks .

I have been following the bands progress since Ripper first announced his intentions to form his own group a while back. I will definately be checking out the album when it is out.

Well, the vocals are absolutely fucking unbelievable!

But the songs... well, there's some OK kind of Painkiller era Priest stuff (surprised?) but overall it gets pretty dull I think.

Try before you buy, I think.

Listened a couple of times and deleted.

I think this band has the potential of being amazing but they just need to focus more on the songwriting rather than relying on Ripper's incredible voice to sell them. (But I gotta say the stuff he's doing on this album is just jaw-dropping all the same!)

It's too bad really, Ripper needs a band of "his own". That way people can stop comparing him to Halford and Barlow

Personally, I think Ripper is better then BOTH of them but will never get the recognition he deserves while living in their shadow

I think all three are amazing and very unique. A pity Barlow left metal, or we could still enjoy all three doing different things.
