Ok, I did the unthinkable and saw this movie. I went in expecting crap and was actually entertained. Its not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but as long as you know what your getting yourself into and aren't expecting Lord of the Rings (lets say keep expectations around the Krull level... maybe...) you'll probably enjoy it. As for the BG songs, its all during the end credits. Skalds and Shadows and Carry the Blessed Home followed by HammerFall's The Fire Burns Forever.
yea, sounds cool. movie probably gonna be one of those underproduced, low funded, cheesetastic movies like Last Legion or Aragon, but still excited for BG's part.
they are also doing something for Sacred 2- Fallen Angel (a video game)
I did, too. It was a decent movie at best, but it had a splendid, diverse soundtrack.
My friends' band Mutha's Day Out were on it, and that soundtrack went platinum in the US....sadly, by that point there was no longer a band to benefit from the exposure.
Agreed--the second MK movie was not good at all. As for the soundtrack, yeah, I remember totally digging it. Fear Factory and napalm Death were on it, and I was much bigger into thrashier stuff back then, esp. FF.
I enjoyed the Resident Evil movies, but I was severely disappointed that the story line for the first one had changed (directly effecting the movies afterwards) from what it was originally planned when directors changed before it was due to go into production. I think it would have been awesome to take the direct story line from the first RE game and make it into a movie since the game had the movie vibe going on with the live action cinematics involved.
Can they not make a movie without altering certain facts that are well known about the characters/places/things?
(ex. even though its not based on a video game - Spiderman does not produce web from his own body)
