Big Brother

So who is watching it? What the hell did Belinda tell them that they couldnt broadcast on tv? It must be either rape or child molestation because everyone else freaked the f**k out severely.

I dont know what the laws are though for that when it comes to being on tv, especially as it was just talking about it (presumably) so I dont understand whats going on...

Spawny yes! What the hell is going on there? I was watching it over dinner and that bit came on. I wonder what happened to her, or what she did. It sounds like something pretty bad.

:hypno:

I know, I mean the 2 things I mentioned are awful, awful things, but they REALLY reacted badly to whatever it was, I mean they were talking about throwing her out of the house basically, because they couldnt handle it...

I just dont know what made them react that way...

I know, but you wouldn't think they'd be so sensitive about censoring something like that...I mean if she got raped or molested, stuff like that is on the news every week. It's not as if it's a completely taboo topic.

What the hell is going on!?! I wanna know!

I'm guessing it's child molestation or something. As Gretel said, they'll mention it on Uncut but NOT in Queensland, so I'm assuming it happened in Qld and the court case is still going.

Leave it to me, I shall do a bit of investigating and get back to y'all!

The forums on the Big Brother website are temporarily closed... to stop discussions of the Belinda thing, perhaps? Hmm... curiouser and curiouser...

A sister in prison... I still dont understand this. Im sure it will come out over the next few days anyway, but its bizarre

Thanks Spiffy, your deductive powers know no bounds :)

could the ''legal implications' be that she is
incriminating herself??? Is that why the other HM's are so upset
and are still saying she shouldn't be in the house???

******

Now that makes sense... I still dont understand why they even aired any of it though. Bizarre.

Okely dokely, it seems her sister was a minor (16ish its said) when she and 2 older guys committed a murder of a gay man, and belinda may have said she wanted to kill the guys who got her sister involved. The reason they couldnt broadcast it was because the case involved a minor or something like that and legally they cant mention it.

Yep, Bens the ex xop, it happened the night before they swapped housemates (I think), but Belinda (the housemate) didnt have anything to do with it (im presuming) she just told them about it.

Which still leaves me wondering why the hell the housemates reacted the way they did, either theres WAY more to it, or the housemates are all a bunch of whiny fairies who need their ass kicked for being so stupid and overreacting.

But it wasnt her who did it, it was her sister (and I agree with you completely, but thats not the point :) )

As if a bit of T&A combined with candid language and general stupidity wasn't enough of reason to watch, we now have homophobic slayings and legal discrimination of minors.
