Biomechanical in today's Kerrang

Just a small bit about the video. They take the piss slightly, but not in a bad way. Nice to get a mention, anyway, and they say nice things about the band too.

 In Kerrang again!

From the Earache site.

Ha that article is totally ripping phrases from the Terroriser article... "New New wave"... Fucking hell. I really hope that doesn't catch on . Makes me think for the next 10 years the only successful UK bands will be biomechanical clones. I hope it doesn't come down to this. The press should give it attention for what it is and not it's potential significance. Or acknowledge the prospects and possiblities the band has, which are clearly many, and try not to nationalise this sound. Damn journalists  :p

But yeah, some of my friends saw the video on scuzz and were all like "Holy Shit!!!" so, you know... Get In!!! :Smokedev:

I know there seems to be some new phrase every month 'Battle Metal, Metalcore, NNWO??...
I know the Biomech guys have been asked alot about what they call the kind of metal they play. They say call it Metal :)

Yeah the band are getting great reactions from the vid!

Yeh, that's the right way to go about it. There's so many classifications in metal, and it makes it difficult for relative metal newbies (such as msyelf) to know what to listen to. I think it's better to find bands that you like than a specific type/style of metal that you like, cos listening to the same style all the time would get rather boring if you ask me. The good thing is that Biomechanical cover so many different styles you can't ever really get bored.

All these gay new terms, like NWOAHM coined by Metal Hammer i believe?? What a load of shitepants (oooh, new word :err: ). But in all honesty, i've never heard anything similar to Biomechanical before, and it sure feels good on the ol' ears.

Indeed. Biomechanical are true originals, let's hope they get the attention they deserve.
