...until further notice. It seems strange that the hateful corner of heavy metal online would be taken aback by it's own campaign urging on hate towards a musician under contract (Dave Mustaine), but some folks are saying just that.
In recent days, Blabbermouth has been posting every bit of 'news' it can find in relation to Mustaine. Dave Mustaine himself recently blasted Roadrunner records (who do operate Blabbermouth - regardless of claims to the contrary stating BMouth is run independently of RRR) claiming they have done a piss-poor job of promoting Megadeth's latest record, End Game.
Who knows what is really happening behind the scenes, but many folks are voicing the collective opinion that Road Runner Records
has recently been actively staging (via Blabbermouth.net) what does very much look like a smear campaign using Mustain's own words, but with slyly cherry picked comments and story headlines.
Road Runner knows many readers of Blabbermouth will behave as good little sheep and lay on the hatred towards Dave Mustaine. And oh boy, the hate was flying freely before the site went down.
I will not be surprised to soon find out that Megadeth and Road Runner part ways. As for Blabbermouth - it will be interesting to see what changes (if any) will be implemented upon it's return.
