Listened to one of those tracks and am not super impressed 
Same kind of workmanlike bluesy rock stuff Hughes has been cranking out on his solo albums lately. The new kid is no Bonamassa. I liked his albums with Marc Bonilla the most.

This has that authentic 70's feel to it. The Bonamassa stuff was way to hit and miss for my taste, just like most of Joe's projects. I for one cant wait for California Breed!
