Hey Guys!

Need some fresh pairs of ears on this one I have the feeling that my low end is totally out of control because i am lacking some good monitors/headphones and room treatment. could you give me some tips? also, dont mind the song - just some riffs thrown together for testing. help and critique is highly appreciated! thanks!

Not sure if it's me but the kick is pumping the mix like mad and during the blast beat sections its clipping/pumping like mad.

As far as the low end goes the kick has too much (imo) and for this genre I think should have more click to it and less thud. Definitely needs less low end.

The guitar tone itself is perfect for this type of music though.

thanks for the reply so far! i am going to update and reduce some 60Hz (that is were my thud is) on the bassdrum. what freq do you prefer for the click of a bassdrum so it isnt drowned by the guitars?
