I helped some friends to record this demo:

Basically I was the recording engineer and I did the mixing and mastering.
I know that the playing is not that good. The guys didn't have enough time for practicing and we didn't have enough time for the recording. However I'm mostly interested in your opinions regarding the mix and overall sound.
The guitars are recorded with Peavey Classic 30 tube amp and Boss MD-2 for the distortion. That was the guitarists' choice. Only the solo is DI tracked, I used Guitar Rig 5 and impulses for it. The guitars are Cort X-11 and Squier Strat.
The bass is a cheap Squier, DI recorded.
I programmed the drums. I used SSD 3.5 with a custom set. Most of the critics I'm getting are about the programming and the drum sound, so I'll be happy to see what you think.
