Wednesday at 8 AM ticket sales start for the AC/DC concert in Belgium. Will have a go but it won't be easy. 7 Shows in Germany were sold out in 12 (!!!!) minutes, must be a new record. Unfortunately lots of tickets go to more curious fans iso real hardrock fans I think :erk:

I guess their tour will have a second leg that will not be as packed but with lotsa people attending nonetheless... They would be crazy not to do a 2nd leg! I for one don't think I'll be getting the tickets in time cause there's no ACDC gig in sight anywhere relatively close, the closest are Milano and Vienna, both at least 700km away from me, so it makes it kinda difficult to plan the trip.

And yeah, I'd like to see the dorks who would unload such obscene amounts of money for a gig... They'd be much better off paying a decent shrink and would save too. :D

It's really frustrating...Sales started at 8.00 AM and already at 8.02 AM there were tickets for sale at Ebay at triple price or more. Luckely Ebay deletes all these sales and warns the sellers of . There are lots more smaller selling and bidding sites, were now ultra high bids are placed by alot of members of the Graspop-forum :)

AC/DC played in Saint Paul MN,and is now is playing in Fargo ND

I was in walmart today & it's surreal how much AC/DC merch they're pimping. There's a whole area right at the front of the store with CDs, Tshirts, Sweatshirts, posters, etc.

I wouldn't go that far.... but they are big and underrated by the music world in general nowadays... that being said me missed them when they were in NY recently... I hope they come back for a 2nd leg of their tour... won't miss them then... :kickass:

They are, actually, pretty much the biggest band in the world. They are second only to the Beatles in records sold. I read this recently on CNN online or something. They consistently sell millions. In the years since the last record, they've sold something like 7 million records. That's just back catalogue stuff. Crazy, but there it is. People like the basics I guess, which is not to dig on AC/DC since I like them quite alot.

Apologies if there is already a thread on this. I got my copy in the mail today. It's good. Either Brian quit smoking, or he got a vocal coach, because the one thing that stands out about the record to me is that he sounds waaaay better than he has in years. Also, I'm thinking the guys are using newer Marshall amp models, because they are just not as crunchy as they used to be...which is not altogether a good thing. Overall, after one listen, I think it is the best thing they've done in a long time.

Having listened to Black Ice quite a few times now, I think it is a truly excellent album. Angus and Malcom are key, of course, but the truth is, when Brian sounds good (as he does here), and is cookin', well, then the AC/DC machine is really running.

This will be in my top 10. It's like a more grown up Back in Black, I think.

It's better with each listen. Once you are tuned into their modern sound, it comes across as just as kickass as anything from the heydey.

this album barely made my top 10 of 2008 unless sammy hagar's new album is better and then it will knock them out of the top 10

Got this one recently, I was surprised as Johnson actually was good, which is just about unprecedented. Stuff is too simple for me to really like it though, but it seems a return to form after all the post-70s crap.

show is here in L.A. on 12/6 and 12/8. The videos I've seen have on you tube are sounding pretty good....though I don't get why people are bashing Angus for still dressing in his school boy outfit.... it's his trademark. Did Ted give up his hat, shotgun or racoon tail? Did Alice leave off his makeup? Did Priest leave their studded leather at home for this tour? NO! another "surprise" was how many responses (all boards) that people have said it sounds the same, nothing has changed... well if it ain't broke- don't fix it. Were they really expecting something that didn't sound like the classic 3 chord ACDC?? Must've been:rolleyes:

I myself am enjoying the CD, I listen every few days so I can be ready for the show. My only disappointment is they've left off 'If you want Blood" from the set list.
