Ok, so I finally caved and picked up the new album. While I hated what they did to Bill, this album is pretty f'n good. Good riffs and Ozzy delivers a good performance. I caved because I kept reading so many people saying great things about it so I figured I should pick it up.

Other thoughts on it?

No it really isn't that good. The album is ok AT best. It is a manufactored attept to try an capture what that band was and that would be impossible. Rubin even said that is what he wanted and well that can't happen.

I thought it was solid. Much better than I was expecting, but it doesn't rival the classic stuff. I will say the songwriting is probably better than the one Heaven and Hell release.

I have enjoyed it, but my expectations were at absolutely rock bottom however.

I would agree with both of you. My expectation were extremely low so I guess there was no way to be disappointed.

I like it...low expectations definitely helped. I like H&H a lot more, though...

I like it a lot too.
Maybe like others I wasn't expecting too much.
I too prefer it to The Devil You know, though I don't really think its fair to compare the two.
