I've got two tickets to see Sonata Arctica September 9th and 10th
yeah, I'm a fan boy
lol I ordered my Iron Maiden ticket for December last year like 7 months before the gig. But then again if I had missed that show I would probably have killed myself. Because it was outstanding!
I don't know how it works in UK... but they have a date the tickets go on sale and it's not 7 months in advance here. I went to the Iron Maiden this last tour, it was amazing, but I bought mine like the day tickets went on sale(a month or so in advance). I went to the ticket outlet and bought them as soon as they opened up and we got two of the last tickets for the floor available.

Dood, when I saw Maiden last year it was totally by chance! Friend called me up the day of the show and was like "hey, I've got an extra ticket; you wanna see maiden?" Show was sold out, I got to see Hallowed be thy Name live and the rest is history
BTW, almost all tickets for Heaven and Hell in LA have sold. No floor seats available after only the second day of going on sale
