Black Sheep Wall - heaviest shit ever

you're right, black sheep wall is a pretty cool band...and that vid isn't even of their best shit

but, you can't FEEL the hate in that guy's voice like you can in that behemoth track. that shit inspires me to rape, pillage, and burn like nothing else.

My opinion of the heaviest shit ever is still hung up on stuff from 1992. :kickass:

This track always comes to mind, becuase the part at around 1:40 where it slows way down, and at 2:20 where he says "Christ's abolishment" just gave me chills. Still does.

Plus I think the production is just awesome. I doubt anyone agrees with me.

Actually, that whole album is how I define heavy.

Will, Incantation would have been my first choice but I figure I've been raving about my near-faggoty new-found love for them non stop, so I went for something different.
2:05 in christening the afterbirth = one of the fiiiinest riffs ever

but seriously

nobody can possibly disagree with this
play this room shakingly loud and you'll forget to breathe

King Conquer

+ fucking 1.

Some of these bands that you guys are calling heavy reminds me of when I started my band and my mom was asking about it..

She asked what kind of band I was in, and I told her it was "heavy".

She said... "Oh, like Metallica?".

Instant facepalm.

Replace "Oh, like Metallica?" with "Oh, like that horrible Sunn band you listen to?" and you have my mother's answer. Haha.

Boring, I know. BUT.

No one can argue that chugs, extremely slow tempos, and unnecessarily long pauses are heavier than guitar solos and clean vocals.:Smug:

Also, this band is actually pretty good. This is by far the most ridiculous song on their album.

Just a little FYI: A Day To Remember blatantly ripped off Recon's triplet breakdown in "Thirteen".

Heaviness is a balance of things. It's not like heaviness is just one thing that you can keep adding more of to increase the effect.

That Recon post is a perfect example. Same with Sunn in my opinion.
