Kentucky rockers BLACK STONE CHERRY recently took part in an acoustic performance and interview at the studios of the Albany rock station Q103. Check out footage of their appearance below.BLACK STONE CHERRY's fourth album, "Magic Mountain", sold around 13,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 22 on The Billboard 200 chart. This number is in line with the first-week performance of BLACK STONE CHERRY's last CD, "Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea", which shifted 13,000 units back in June 2011 to land at No. 29."Magic Mountain" was released in North America on May 6 (one day earlier internationally) via Roadrunner Records. The "Me And Mary Jane" video was directed by Mason Dixon in Nashville, Tennessee. "We wanted to make a cool, interesting, and dangerous video… all the while keeping it sexy and rock 'n' roll," BLACK STONE CHERRY frontman Chris Robertson told Billboard.com. The clip has "a ton of vibe and we're sure people will want to watch it over and over again," added Robertson. "I mean, if you're gonna do a video in today's world, why not go for it."BLACK STONE CHERRY's previous albums, 2008's "Folklore And Superstition" and 2011's "Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea", both topped the U.K. Rock Albums chart on their release and have since racked up silver sales certification status from the BPI (British Phonographic Industry).
