"... Immerse yourself in the spellbinding world of Dutch symphonic metal band Blackbriar's next single release, "Floriography". Zora Cock comments:
'Floriography' marks the start of our upcoming third studio album. It's a song full of mystery, dark academia meets Sherlock Holmes. The song's protagonist deciphers hidden messages from a secret lover through the Victorian language of flowers, cryptic poetry, lyrical acronyms, and marks carved in trees. She may have even left some for you.

BLACKBRIAR – New Single “Harpy” Released

"... Macabre raconteurs Blackbriar have released their latest single, the soaring “Harpy”. The track weaves a tale about the mythological being, the Harpy – the spirit of the wind and storms, a chilling creature who was known to abduct people, particularly those cursed by the gods.

Vocalist Zora Cock comments:
In this song, I call upon a Harpy to please carry me away after I’ve died a thousand little deaths. I lure it with my carrion heart, after all, Harpies are known as human vultures. If not, I fear I might be stuck in the same place, slowly left eroding. I need to die one last time to be laid to rest finally. This song, Harpy, inspired the album title.

Few bands are capable of conjuring up such vivid cinematic vision as Blackbriar. The band’s lavish history of evocative dark fairytale storytelling and compelling gothic soundscapes continues to expand as we move further into 2025 and their upcoming third full length album, A Thousand Little Deaths. Tackling themes of love, loss, and death, Blackbriar seek to take all willing Thorns on a passionate and resounding journey filled once more with mesmerizing imagery, masterful lyricism, and dark symphonic metal power....Pre-order the new album here...."
