just wondering what people are feeling about the blackstar line of amps.

i played a club 50 last week and it was KILLER!!!! fantastic price too!!

I played a series one 1046L6 at my local music store...fucking slayed. I still debate to sell my 5150 and pick one of those bad boys up.

Check out Ola's amp test of the HT-5. Sounds great to my ears and available brand new here in the UK for £250.

They're pretty good. I had a HT-5 once, and I only got rid of it because I was bored with it. I've played an Artisan 30 too. Not good for metal, but a lush as fuck clean tone. Keep contemplating getting a Series One at some point.

I think the new digital blackstar will be awesome. Cheap as fuck and according to the Swedish distro (a dude I trust), it sounds really, REALLY good. He's a modded Marshall type of guy so I think they might have a winner.

I played the Series One 200 about 30 min after playing an Engl PBII, Savage 120, Invader 100, and Victor Smolski. I ended up buying an Engl Victor Smolski. The Blackstar was cool...but nothing really jumped out at me about it. It was just kind of eh.
