Anyone tried one of these cabs? How do they stack up against the Mesa Oversize? They are about a quarter of the price here in Oz...

I did a shootout between these a while back. I'm sure you'll find it with a quick search.
Wasn't the best sounding clips mind you as it was done in a bit of a rush and I sucked at guitars alot more back then compared to now. I would redo it but I don't have the Blackstar anymore unfortunately.

Blackstar is ALOT brighter than the Mesa so you'd really have to adjust amp settings/mic placement to compensate. Still a nice sounding cab though!

Catch a charter flight out to Pony one day soon Ermz and give it a crack...
Nice tight low end but a little bright as mentioned.
I prefer the Series 1 cab for heavy stuff over the Artisan. Although we did end up using the Artisan cab for the Ne'O album..
I don't have a mesa oversize here.. otherwise i'd run some tracks for you..
