Mesa vs. Blackstar 4x12" (Clips!)

Don't have the blackstar anymore, but as we've already discussed the original V30's in the Blackstar are voiced much brighter than the V30's in the Mesa, so with a mic dead centre it can get a bit overbearing.

Can these Mesa voiced vintage 30s be bought separately?
I also own the Blackstar with vintage 30s but i actually swapped
2 of them for G12 75's in the x pattern, still not 100% happy with it though.
The vintage 30s in there always sound fizzy (go figure eh!) so i opt to record
the G12's instead, id be interested in swapping the vintage 30s for a pair of the Mesa voiced one for sure.

Not sure to be honest. Maybe you could mail Mesa and ask them? I'm sure they must be able to supply them for spare parts?

The Blackstar really suits a darker mic and/or a more off centre placement.

I actually WAY prefer the Blackstar. The Mesa sounds really saturated to me, like the speaker distorted much more than the Blackstar, it gives it this buzzy quality that is grating for me, most noticeable on the chords at the end.

The Blackstar does seem a little bright, but I think a little LP would cure that.
