I'm a total geek and check my gaming/gadget blogs a couple times an hour. You can't imagine how shocked I was to see the cover of Blind Guardian's single for "Mirror Mirror" and a story about them on a gaming site. Here is a link to the story, apparently they are writing a song specifically for the game just as Within Temptation did for Chronicles of Spellborn.

Cool news - I think Blind Guardian lends themselves a little better to fantasy RPGs than Within Temptation. Full speed ahead for those cats. 
I've often thought that the success of the "Lord of the Rings" movies as well as World of Warcraft and that sort of thing showed that people had a real hunger for fantasy, and eventually that was going to start reflecting in musical tastes.
