Blind guardian

OMG OMG OMG....the second best band ever after Maiden.

ok, dude, holy hell. definatly, i think your first buy shiuld be Nightfall In Middle Earth. a most kick ass concept album based on JRR tolkeins "the silmarillion". its fuckin awesome, dude, totally get that.

next id suggest either Somwhere Far Beyond, another SUPERB album.

(if you have the money, get SFB and NIME now!)

than, id say A Night At The Opera, then Imaginations From The Other Side, than whatever you want.

NIME, SFB, and ANATO are their 3 best IMO, and, alot of opinions.

Blind Guardian just fuckin kicks ass man, they RULE.

For me, easily "Imaginations From the Other Side".

Seconded :headbang:

Then go for:

"Somewhere Far Beyond"
"A Night At The Opera"
"Nightfall In Middle-Earth"
"Tales From The Twilight World"
"Follow The Blind"
"Battalions Of Fear"
"Tokyo Tales"
"The Forgotten Tales"
"Live"

and if you want to round things up, get Savage Circus "Dreamland Manor"

NP: Blue Murder - 'We All Fall Down'

What do ya think about Demons & Wizards?

I forgot to add them mainly because I was thinking more on pure BG sound. D&W is truly a grat band and I enjoy it a lot, but of course has too much IE sound in it and therefore I set it apart.

Being said that "Touched By The Crimson King" is among my 10 favotite albums of the year :D

Get Somewhere Far Beyond first! Don't listen to anyone else!

That album works as perfect middleground between their older Speed Metal works and the newer Power Metal stuff. PERFECT starting point.

Don`t they have the mr.sandman song???

Indeed and it's a great cover. Check "The Forgtotten Tales", they also have an incredible version of Mike Oldfield's 'To France'.

NP: Camel - 'Song Within A Song'

I have Battalions of Fear and A Night At The Opera. I'd say I need more also.

The cover of Satans "Trial by fire" is great also on the Somewhere far beyond. Its nice to hear the song in a good sound quality. The queen cover didnt get my dick hard but its nice also.
