No, the first six are good. Tales From The Twilight World and Somewhere Far Beyond still have heavy, heavy Speed Metal influence, and Imaginations From The Other Side has some as well. Nightfall In Middle-Earth is pure Power Metal, but in a good way.

I've only heard Somewhere Far Beyond, and it's pretty good. But i don't care about them anymore, since the newer ones are terrible.

I own Nightfall and Imaginations and they're both good but I prefer Imaginations because Nightfall is too much of the overblown power metal for my tastes. It's got some good songs but gets a bit kitsch at times.

yes. i really like their latest release "a twist in the myth"

nightfall is my favorite. it was my first power metal album, so its part sentimental, but that album just shreds!

Somewhere Far Beyond is their best. Followed by Follow the Blind and Imaginations From the Other Side. The rest* are good too but Tales From the Twilight World is probably the weakest.

*By the rest I mean every album except A Twist in the Myth which sucks.

i love all blind guardian cds but my faves are battalions of fear and a twist in the myth. a lot of ppl bitch about ATITM but i really love it. otherland and fly are great song.

I only know Nightfall and it seems that it's not really appreciated here, anyway, maybe it's because I love Hansi Kürsch's voice. I really like the first Demons and Wizards album too!!

Maybe because I like power metal then? If so, could you recommend me some albums like Nightfall in Middle Earth/Demons and Wizards? It would be great!!

The only BG cds worth getting are Follow the Blind, Battalions of Fear, Tales from the Twilight World and Imaginations. The others are ok but not close as good. And Nightfall has to many fillers

I think Tales from the Twilight world is full of fillers, the only really good songs on it are Traveller in Time and The Last Candle. Welcome to Dying is pretty good too, the rest is pretty meh imo.
