Blindsided lyrics question

These little things bug me...so...

After the last verse, the lyrics sung are not the same as printed in the various editions of Time Lost and Live at Last.

The final chorus ending in: "And the promise made, nothing but a fable..."

Leads to:

And you'll never love again
Faith can't be believed (?)
And Trust, it can't be trusted (?)
Hearts can change just like the wind
blah blah blah <-----what's sung at this line?

It doesn't sound like what's printed:..."So it's best to keep them safe beneath the table..."

yup, that's a misprint indeed. That was the original line I wrote that was supposed to go with the 'fable' line. When assembling the lyrics for the album, I must have submitted the unrevised version.......ooops! What is sung on the album is "Inherant hopefulness, it needs to be adjusted." That verse illustrates the determined mindset of one who's heart has recently been broken.
