Labor Day weekend, my very own little town, Alice Cooper, Blue Oyster Cult, .38 Special, Cheap Trick, and Steppenwolf. Or I can drive two hours South and help my sister and her family move into their house

Your sister will always be there, and she always have to cope with you and viceversa. Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult is once in a livetime IMO

After looking t the line-up I'd help the sis move...
Don't get me wrong, they were great in their time, but that has since passed...
you are mistaken, sir! I myself saw BOC a couple week ago, and they were phenomenal!!
I suggest anybody who gets the chance to see them, and when they're teaming up with the likes of AC......that's just madness :tickled:

NOT TO WORRY! Your Favorite Uncle is here to help. Here's what you do. You wake up EARLY and get your ass down south to help your sister move. Come on, man. You gotta help your sister! You may move one day too! But get done in time to clean up and haul ass back up the road in time for the show!!!! And make sure you hit her up for some gas money for your two hour drive each way. This way you help sis and don't feel guilty for going out and havingn a balls out time that night. The Karma Police will smile on you and may even put you at the show between two drunk hotties who just want to flash the band all night and keep falling, naked, upon you time and time again. What??? It could happen!

The kid agrees with me  . I saw BOC on 2004 on a short-free concert that was one of the best I've seen. I couldn't believe after all these years the quality of the band (even without the Bouchard borthers) and the amazing talent of Buck Dharma soloing.

Thanks! That was great and I really was  while I read it.

I need to clarify a bit -- it's two different shows. Alice is headlinig one and BOC the other. Different nights.

I've seen them about 8 or 9 times over the last 15 years or so. They have always been very good. Small club or a bigger venue, crowd of hundreds or thousands, they put on a quality show. I think their secret is that they enjoy it.

I always yell, "Joan Crawford" every time I see them.

Cooper alone is Worth skipping out on the sis! hehehe I would! and my sis would completely understand .. infact she would prolly skip the move and go with me hahaha

   That ain't gonna happen with mine. Unfortunately.

Did you already promise her you would help her before planning the to go to the show? Has your sister helped you when you needed it? Is your sister a big girl (any reason she can't do it without your help)? These are the kind of questions you need to ask yourself. If you promised... I say keep the promise. If she has helped you out before then I would suggest you help her out. If ultimately she really doesn't "need" your help... then explain your dilema and beg off!

When you have seen a sister you have seen all, but BOC and AC concerts....
