I haven't ever been into them, but im going to start getting into them now i suppose, so what album is a good place to start?

I've never had the chance to listen to them, maybe i'll try listening to the myspace songs.

To make things a little clear, Breeding Death and Resurrection Through Carnage have more of an oldschool DM-sound, Nightmares Made Flesh is more modern.
The new EP is something in between when it comes to the sound i think, it has some kind of Morbid Angel vibe, its more brutal and not as catchy as their other releases.

Guitar sound is pretty wonky on RTC.

RTC is slower, has a lot of background melodies, deeper vocals. NMF is faster, catchier, more groovy riffs, vocals are less deep but still plenty brutal. Guitar sound is normal, compared to the ridiculously deep sound on RTC.

Resurrection Through Carnage and the Breeding Death ep are my preferred releases... by far.

Breeding Death is pretty straight-forward (and awesome) old school death metal so I'd start with that one. The other albums are good but they take a more experimental-sounding direction.

1. Resurrection Through Carnage
2. Unblessing The Purity
3. Nightmares Made Flesh
4. Breeding Death

Nightmares Made Flesh is my personal favorite. As awesome as Akerfeldt is, I prefer the other guy's voice (can't remember the name atm). Eaten is an absolutely fucking awesome song.

Peter Tagtgren.
And yeah, I think everyone on this forum loves that song.
