When I was a kid I would always go to the Friday Night Jamboree with my grandparents. I didn't really appreciate it at the time... but I wouldn't give up those memories for anything. Now every time I hear bluegrass, I get all warm and happy inside

As an old-time music fan from childhood I'm obligated to turn up my nose at your new-fangled Bluegrass. That Nickle Creek tour with Fiona Apple was pretty great though.

that dude Micheal Lee Firkins who put some solo albums out on Shrapnel and played on Jason Becker's Inspiration is an absolute beast.

I remember his Cactus Cruz album having a lot of bluegrass stuff on it.

Bluegrass is great. The guitar work is phenomenal! You don't hear much about Bluegrass anymore. The stuff is very underrated.
