Some of you might know that I used to play drums in Dauntless. Well, I haven't played drums in two years but I have a new band! This time the drums are programmed, but who knows what's next? The programming was done note by note - no midi libraries used.

Sounds nice, most natural sounding programmed drums i've heard. At least on this forum. Also i like very much of the raw energy that this mix is giving out. I think next "step" that would make my balls bigger listening this would be that the mix has more that solid drive going on. If you can say, that drive is now concentrated on somewhere 300-500. I'd like that good chubby fat chugging more on the whole mix, and less drum "room". But hey that's a personal taste matter. The mix sounds really nice as it is!

Hahah, I went through my CD's a couple of weeks ago and found a copy of Dauntless' Execute the Fact in shrink-wrap Still a kick-ass album.

Loving this new stuff, too. The vocalist is really good!

Thanks guys! I have to say that programming and mixing the drums was harder than expected. The goal was to make it sound natural and I really had to do lots of manual work.

Drums sound pretty spot on to me. Loving the way the guitar and bass sit on this track. Real big and fat. Any info on the signal chain for those guitars would be fantastic. Whats on the 2 buss nowadays?

Thanks! I will post the guitar settings later (8505+LeCto). Bass is also 8505. The 2-buss looks like this:

- TesslaPRO
- LiquidMix Grinder A
- Voxengo VariSaturator

Really liking the VariSaturator Not sure about the TesslaPRO though. It's not doing much.
