It was the damn christians I tell you!
Anyways, I don't like humans.
Now, let's just hope the USA media don't make it the main news topic for a week.
Now, let's just hope the USA media don't make it the main news topic for a week. I'm not saying it's not worth making a deal out of human deaths, but it only makes USA the target of choice when it comes to fear war, it's just so effective to blow something in the USA when you want to have impact. I can picture your streets full of USA flags tomorrow, and on and on, the result is only more terrorist attacks, therefore more deaths.
It would receive similarly broad coverage in the UK, I think. American cable news sucks, but the British tabloids seem fairly similar in their coverage of these sorts of events.
I am by no means a domestic terrorism expert, but my money is on a lone wolf or small group unaffiliated with an international terrorist group. The choice of Boston, and a marathon in particular, seem sort of weird and not particularly calculated to achieve a desired political goal. The absence of any message in the aftermath is also odd. International terrorist groups are typically quick to claim responsibility. I could be talking out of my ass, though.
I thought that too, but Al Qaida for instance haven't orchaestrated an attack themselves since 2010, but still remain a (radically diminished) terrorist group. I'd put my money on some nutjob who supports them doing it of his own free will and happening to live in Boston.
It's definitely not orchestrated terrorism style anyway, 9/11 struck at the heart of US defence/a massive office building in one of the busiest districts on the planet, and the 7/7 london bombings brought London's main transport system to it's knees. A marathon in Boston is nothing compared to those so the lone ranger idea seems most likely.
lol doesn't read title
