not a big fan of bon jovi but i wanted to try something different than metal.

I think i know what you mean but not sure.what do you mean by dull?Or any suggestions on how to fix it?

It's kinda muffled. Needs more clarity.
it has no power, even though it's a kinda bon jovi tone, it needs a bit of more power.
you can reamp the tone and use rock albums as a reference, even the original bon jovi tone is great one, so pay attention to it.
