Born of Osiris - Machine Mix Test

I found some stems for Machine by Born of Osiris. Decide to try to add my flavor of mixing to the song. Check it out. Any feedback would be appreciated. I still barely know what I am doing so any and all feedback is welcome. Thank you in advance!

This isn't half bad for a beginner's mix! On my monitors, the drums sound pretty thin, like they've had their low and mid ends scooped out a bit too much. Since there are no vocals feel free to let the drums take up more space and volume (literally and figuratively) in the mix. The chugging guitars sound like they could use a little more warmth and a little less pick attack but that's just my personal taste. Other than that I don't have any complaints, the mix suits the music. On an off note, any chance you could share a link for those tracks? I could do for some mixing practice myself.

The stems are the already mixed/mastered version, though, so there's really not much mixing practice involved. Still, really fascinating hearing the different elements seperated in a pro mix.

These stems, although not for mixing practice, are extremely helpful because I wanted to do a cover of this song, so now I know all the things that were put into it so I can try to recreate them to the best of my abilities.
