BOSTON vs. KANSAS

The first Boston album trumps anything Kansas produced, even though Kansas is definitely the better band talent-wise. As such, my vote goes with Boston.

If this were a one album showdown, I'd vote Boston. As it is, I voted Kansas.

That's kinda how I felt...and I love Boston's first and second releases.

At one time I had an 8-track player in my car...and exactly one (1) 8-track tape for it: Boston's debut.
There are far worse albums to be subjected to every day in college for a year.


(I always thought "Hitch A Ride" was a two-part song...until I discovered that it was faded out on the 8-track to allow for a track break, then faded back in on the next track. )
