Hey guys, quick question.

This band I just finished is going to be taking their mix to get mastered by Alan Douches in West West Side Studios.

I've had my mixes mastered by other people before but never anyone like Douches. Usually I just send the mastering engineer .wav file of the mixes though email or however he prefers and then he sends the band the final masters.

I wanted to find out if there are any better choices? or is that like a normal practice? I don't want to seem unprofessional. My band mastered with Douches once and the engineer we recorded with used some sort of DVD format that I can't remember.

I'm using Reaper on a pc, if that helps.
