Brass section experts ?

I want to cover this song
And there are those kind of trumpets and maybe a trombone but I'm not sure.

I have the midi file which splits the chord they make into 4 instruments (or 4 trumpets) and I'm wondering if I should keep them trumpets or use like a trombonne for the lower note and etc... I seek advices

Also, what do you think the percussive instrument playing a melody is ?

Thanks! Oh and, how would you pan those ?? I will add some rock-n-roll/blues lead guitar int here to fit the mood of the tune.

The percussion melody in the A section sounds like a xylophone with rubber mallets. For the chords, from the ranges I guess I'd use two trumpets and two trombones.

Since you know the notes just check what playing range the instruments has and choose from there:
